Nomihoudai — Digital collage. 05/25/22.

This is a cow I once met in Ireland, reimagined on the streets of Tokyo (hunting for an all-you-can-drink karaoke place, if you're curious). I'm proud of this piece because, for my first foray into collage and using photoshop, I think I did a good job of integrating the cows into the street scene through the lighting.

Praxis — Digital vector illustration. 06/28/22.

This illustration began as nothing more than a fun experiment to get familiar with the particle and 3D effects in Adobe Illustrator, and I actually originally envisioned it in a pop-art inspired style, with bright, cheery colors. And then, in the middle of working on the piece, SCOTUS announced their decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and I suddenly felt a lot less whimsical about it. I was angry. I'm still angry. And we should probably overthrow the government in a violent revolution.

Froggy Weather — Digital animation. 07/06/22.

This project was all about finding my feet in the world of animation, and I couldn't be happier with it — even though most of the work that I'm so happy with is behind-the-scenes. A lot of logistical problem-solving and experimentation went into this animation as I explored all of Photoshop's drawing and animation features and worked out how to keep the file neat, efficient, and organized.
